Visitors to the popular mountain lake can sleep under the stars, park their own recreational vehicle or rent a rustic cabin.

The Lake of the Woods Resort caters to summer and winter adventurers alike. In summer, outdoor buffs can water ski, fish by boat or off the dock, paddle boat or scuba dive. Come winter, there's ice fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

Those who don't camp in tents can find 27 RV spaces and 26 cabins. At the center of the lodge is a general store, restaurant, bar and marina.

The resort is off Highway 140, just east of the Jackson/Klamath county line.
