Theater students from Eagle Point High School's Thespian troupe 4474 will be dressed in costumes to collect food donations on Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event is part of the Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat, or TOTS, program, organized by the International Thespian Society, a division of the Educational Theatre Association. TOTS is a new national community service program for ITS-member schools to collect canned and dry goods for local charities and food banks.

Thespian troupes from across the state are participating. The donations will go to local charities and food banks. Organizers hope to collect thousands of pounds of food, giving them the ability to help thousands of local people.
