If your list of favorite things in life includes audience participation at the movie theater, head on over to Medford's Tinseltown tonight, when the audience is invited to sing along with a high-definition showing of “The Sound of Music.”

The 6:30 p.m. event is part of a national promotion tied to the five-time Academy Award winning movie's 45th anniversary. Tickets go for $12.50 for adults and $10 for the younger set.
Tinseltown is at 651 Medford Center.

Sponsor NCM Fathom notes that the showing includes a look at the restoration of the movie and a travelogue where it was filmed.
