Rick Allen Linson was the definition of untamed. Rick was like nitroglycerin trapped in a Coke bottlethat being said as the highest of compliments. Sadly, on Monday, October 18, 2010, a force of nature was silenced. Rick was lost in a tragic car accident just minutes away from his home in the community of Prospect. He will be greatly missed by many.
Rick was an avid outdoorsman, loved to fish and hunt anywhere he could. He also loved to snowboard Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Ashland during the winter, and was just learning to enjoy deep-water diving. He lived life more than others, and so did those around him in turn.
Rick is survived by father and mother, John and Theresa Linson; siblings, Tyler, Christy, and Riley; and his own loving family, Candice Spearen, and their eight-month old son Aron Linson. But he also leaves behind a legacy, a legacy of family that stretches far beyond the bounds of blood.
Many considered Rick a brother. At only 22 years of age, everyone has a story about Rick. Those that would like to join the family in celebrating the life of Rick Linson and share those stories can join them at River's Edge/Holy Waters, at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Anyone interested in assisting Rick's young family can make donations at Premiere West Bank under the names of Theresa and Aron Linson or Candice Spearen.
Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.
