Timothy Shawn Dunlap, 46, passed over to the Great Spirit on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Shawn worked as a salmon fisherman beside his brothers and father on the Oregon and California coasts during his youth. Shawn was a general contractor and journeyman carpenter at the time of his passing.

Shawn is survived by daughters, Shawna Dunlap, of Hawaii, Quanah Dunlap, of California; mother, Saundra L. Dunlap (Hickey), of Medford, Ore.; siblings, Thomas K (Adrienne) Dunlap, Fort Washakie, Wyo., Donita (Bob) King, of Nevada City, Calif., Leilani Dunlap, of Medford, Ore.; nieces, Alisa Lindsay, of Eugene, Ore., Sandie Smith, of Nevada City, Calif., Tetona Dunlap, Michelle Dunlap and Juniper Dunlap, of Fort Washakie, Wyo., Shianne Bridges and Shonia Bridges, of Medford, Ore.; nephews, Michael Lindsay, of Nevada City, Calif., William Paul Smith, of New York, N.Y., Robert and Christopher Duke, of Nevada City, Calif.; Daniel Moydell of Medford, Ore.; and 12 grandnieces and nephews. He was loved.

Shawn is preceded in death by brother, Daniel "Danny" Dunlap; and father, Donald Dunlap.

In honor of Shawn's friendly smile, his love of children, and because he was a beloved member of our family, a memorial and celebration of life and love is planned for Saturday, October 30, 2010.
