Rogue Valley Mall has organized an afternoon of kid-oriented activities (near Macy's) from 1 to 6 p.m., a costume parade at 3:45 p.m. and trick-or-treating at stores from 4 to 6 p.m.

Medford and Rogue Valley YMCAs have activities planned, as do America's Best Kids gym, the Griffin Creek Grange, ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum and some area churches.

The annual Monster Dash fun run and Halloween parade are planned in Ashland, and several haunted houses stay are staying open late.
