Mike Feagan scored two goals to lead the Southern Oregon Spartans to a 3-1 road win over Puget Sound, Saturday at Bremerton Rink.

The Spartans (7-5), who remained in second place, two points ahead of Eugene in the NPHL standings, broke a scoreless tie late in the first period when Ian Redlinger scored off an assist by Jun Martin. Feagan made it 2-0 with about three minutes to go in the second period.

After the Tomahawks (1-15) scored with six minutes to go to cut the deficit to one, Feagan put the game away by scoring an empty-net goal with two seconds left on the clock.

Southern Oregon went 2-1 on its road trip.
