The bride is the daughter of Ted and Louise Lafon of Central Point. A graduate of Crater High School in Central Point, she is a waitress at Rooster's in Medford.

The groom is the son of Gerard Payne of Medford and Linda Payne of Phoenix. A graduate of Phoenix High School, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1991 to 1995. He is a sheet metal worker in the union.

Maid of honor was Kristina McAuliffe of Medford. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Ford of Central Point, and the bride's daughter, Jordan Wyncoop of Central Point.

Best man was the groom's brother, Jason Payne of Central Point. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Jake Payne of Phoenix, and the bride's son, Daniel Wyncoop of Central Point. The usher was the bride's brother, Theodore Lafon of Gold Hill. Flower girl was the daughter of the bride and groom, Samantha Payne of Central Point.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Bybee's Historic Inn.

After a wedding trip to the coast, the newlyweds are living in Central Point and planning a honeymoon at a later date.
