Jordan Highland led SOU (5-1) with 18 points, while Kyle Tedder had 17 points and Kellen Hawley and Scott Tiefenthaler both had 10 points.

The Raiders shot 52 percent for the game, including 64 percent in the second half on 16-for-25 shooting.

Southern Oregon's anticipated matchup today with Simpson was postponed because of weather concerns. The Raiders will return to action Thursday and Friday when they host the annual Flagship Inn Invitational. Oregon Tech and Fresno Pacific will open play Friday at 5:30 p.m., followed by SOU and William Jessup at 7:30.

Women's Basketball

SIMON FRASER 88, SOU 65 — At Salem, a pair of dry spells hindered Southern Oregon (3-4) in the nonconference affair.

Carly Wood led four Raiders in double-digits with 13 points. Josi McDermott had 12, while Alexi Smith and Whitney Scott both had 11.

Simon Fraser (2-0) opened the game on an 8-0 run, then opened the second half on a 12-0 run to create plenty of cushion.

Today's scheduled game with Simpson was postponed because of weather concerns.
