Former South Medford High basketball stars Kyle and E.J. Singler meet on the court at the Rose Garden in Portland this afternoon for a contest that's expected to feature a large Southern Oregon contingent in the stands.

The 1 p.m. game between Kyle's top-ranked Duke University Blue Devils and E.J.'s University of Oregon Ducks will be broadcast on FSN, the Fox regional sports network that appears on Channel 38 in the Charter cable lineup, and on radio station KCMX, 880-AM.

The game has drawn attention to the sibling rivalry between the Singler brothers, both former South Medford High School hoop stars. And South will be well represented at the game thanks at least in part to Panther basketball coach Dennis Murphy, who distributed nearly 1,000 tickets in Southern Oregon.
