A Toyota pickup loaded with an estimated $10,000 worth of hunting equipment, including a rifle and optic gear, reportedly was stolen from a northwest Medford neighborhood on Christmas.

The loaded truck was parked in the 900 block of Worchester Drive, Medford, on the eve of a hunting trip, Medford police Lt. Bob Hansen said in a news release today. The hunters had planned to leave on Sunday.

Their truck, however, disappeared around 11 p.m. on Christmas, police said.

It is described as a dark blue 1988 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a black ARB front bumper with winch and Oregon license plate VXQ 428.

Anyone who spots the truck should contact the local police department.
