PrimeCare, an association of Southern Oregon physicians in private practice, has awarded grants to several local charitable organizations that provide health-related services to the community.

The grants included $5,000 for the Children's Advocacy Center to provide medical exams to victims of child abuse; $5,000 to the Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team for specialized nursing services to victims of sexual assault; $1,000 to ARC of Jackson County to provide respite services to caregivers; and $1,000 to the Ashland Community Hospital Foundation for provision of cardiac monitoring and hospice services.
