Anchor Blue, a Corona, Calif.-based teen clothing chain, will close its Medford store at the end of the month.

Anchor Blue, a Corona, Calif.-based teen clothing chain, will close its Medford store at the end of the month.

The company filed for bankruptcy protection for a second time and said earlier this month it will close 117 stores.

The retailer has agreed to allow limited returns and use of gift cards. Gift cards from bankrupt specialty retailer Anchor Blue will be honored through Jan. 28, according to the Oregon Department of Justice.

Under terms announced by the attorney general's office, goods purchased before Jan. 7 may be returned for exchange or store credit by Feb. 5 or 30 days after initial purchase if that is earlier.

Anchor Blue has asked a Delaware Bankruptcy Court to reject its Rogue Valley Mall store lease effective Jan. 31, so Medford consumers will have to travel to the nearest stores in Lancaster Mall in Salem or Clackamas Town Center to return goods after Jan. 31.
