The Southern Oregon University Foundation has appointed Blair Moody of Medford as the new foundation board president after two years as vice president.

The Southern Oregon University Foundation has appointed Blair Moody of Medford as the new foundation board president after two years as vice president.

A certified forester and fellow of the Society of American Foresters, Moody is employed with the Medford District of the Bureau of Land Management and Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest.

Other officers are Dan Thorndike of Medford, vice president; Geoffrey Cutler of Medford, treasurer; and Sue Kupillas of Medford, secretary.

Moody has served SOU since 1987 and is currently chairman of the SOU Environmental Studies Program Advisory Council. Appointed to the foundation board in 1996, Moody was a past president of the SOU Regional Advisory Board, and served on the SOSC Community Relations Advisory Board.
