August 16, 1988 - January 21, 2011
Branson was a gift of God given to us for a short 22 years. He was born in Seward, Alaska, and spent his high school years in Medford, Oregon. He loved life to the fullest. He made many friends from a very young age and they remained his friends for life. There were always mountains to climb, caves to explore, lakes to play in, skateboards to ride, bikes to ride, dirt biking and three-wheeling, snowmobiling and wakeboarding.
He played many sports growing up in Seward and played football, baseball, ran track and played hockey at South Medford High, where he graduated with honors in 2007. He attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore., and continued his education in Arizona at Scottsdale Community College. He worked for Costco and was later assistant manager at Dutch Bros. to pay his own way through school. He took great pride in being a responsible young man. Children were drawn to him and he always greeted the older generation with a firm handshake and a smile. We loved him for his maturity. Branson loved life but also the Life Giver. He knew who had given him life and he honored Him. Although our loss is tragic, he will be with us always.
Branson is survived by his parents, Brad and Ronda Holm; three sisters, Crystal, Shannon and Whitny; two brothers-in-law, Isiah Brooks and Ryan Davidson; two nephews, Isiah and Darin Brooks; his love, Shelby Dietsch; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at West Main Church of Christ in Medford, Ore., on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
