DALLAS — Logan Winter had 24 points and 10 rebounds to help fuel Eagle Point past Dallas 73-60 in a first-round Class 5A play-in game on Tuesday.

Tyrone Holmes scored 19 points and Zach Reed offered 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Eagles, who led by as many as 12 points in the win. The Dragons drew within six points in the fourth quarter, but Eagle Point knocked down nine of its final 14 free-throw attempts to seal the victory.

Jonathan Bolston turned in 13 points and three assists for the Eagles (11-13), who will next travel to play North Eugene in a second-round play-in contest at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Mitch Burbank and Landon Hattan paced Dallas (12-14) with 14 points apiece.

ROSEBURG 50, GRANTS PASS 41 — At Grants Pass, Brad Seehawer came alive to lead a fourth quarter comeback for Roseburg.

The Roseburg (17-6, 9-3 SOH) victory coupled with South Medford's loss to North Medford ties the Indians for the SOH conference title with South Medford.

Seehawer, a senior guard, scored 11 of his 15 points in the final quarter to help the Indians erase a four-point deficit.

Grants Pass (10-13, 4-8 SOH) was led by Tony Scriven with 16 points.

Grants Pass will host Forest Grove in a state play-in game at 7 p.m. Friday.

GRANTS PASS 39, ROSEBURG 38 — At Roseburg, Courtney Smith poured in 10 of her game-high 17 points in the second half to help Grants Pass rally and secure fourth place in the SOH.

Roseburg held a 18-13 halftime margin and led by four points entering the final period. Maricela Aguilera's two free throws with 11 seconds remaining proved to be the winning points.

Annie Edgar led Grants Pass with 11 rebounds and junior forward Hannah Johnson pulled down 10 for the Cavers.

Aguilera also played an important role defensively by limiting Roseburg leading scorer Shelby Snook to eight points.

Grants Pass (8-15, 3-9 SOH) will host Forest Grove at 4 p.m. Saturday in a state play-in game, while Roseburg (8-15, 2-10 SOH) plays at Redmond.
