Inez Delores Nodwell passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at her home in Medford, Ore. She was born on November 4, 1929, in Barrie, Ont., Canada, to Austin and Lottie Verge.

Inez was vice president in California for Pico Crimping Tool and Die, a dedicated worker never missing a day of work in her entire career.

After retiring, Inez and Jim Nodwell followed their daughters and son to live in Medford, Ore. Inez enjoyed bingo, card games, knitting and crocheting. Inez gave away her hand-made washcloths to all she met. She loved lunch and events at the Senior Citizens, Sons of Norway and Old Time Fiddlers. Every week she and Madelyn Dean would visit the Alzheimer home, enjoying taking candy and playing games with all the patients.

Inez is survived by her daughters, Lynn Wroblewski, of Jacksonville, Sharon Nodwell of Medford; brothers Sonny, Leonard and Billy Verge; sisters, Molly Galbraith and Ruth Verge; sister-in-laws, Sandra, Myrna, Lynda and Sue Verge; and numerous nieces and nephews, all from Canada. Eight grandchildren Eric Wroblewski, Brandy Saunders, Chad Combe, Ranae Combe, Steven Nodwell, Michelle Nodwell, Jamie Nodwell, and Chris Eakel. Ten great grandchildren, Donnovan, Elle, Draven, Antonia, Quinten, Andrew, Aaron, Michael, Riley and Matthew.

Inez was preceded in death by her mother and father Austin and Lottie Verge, daughter, Bonnie, son, Michael, and husband Jim; and brothers and sisters, Carson, Frankie, Thelma, and Marie.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Eastwood Baptist Church, 675 N. Keene Way Drive Medford, Ore.
