North Medford softball player Amanda Wolfe will be the guest Friday when the Mail Tribune's live, unscripted and interactive sports chat returns for a 44th week.

The senior catcher was a Southwest Conference first-team selection as a junior for the Black Tornado, which won the SWC title and finished with a 26-3 overall record in 2010. She was named to the Class 6A second-team state list.

Last season, Wolfe led North with 27 RBIs to go with a .344 batting average. She received first-team state honors as a sophomore, when the Black Tornado won the 6A state championship.

North is 5-1 this season with wins over Marist, Jesuit, Southridge and Sprague. The Black Tornado hosts Crater on March 31.
