Alvin N. Corpe, of Medford, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011. He was born May 19, 1921, in Minneapolis, Minn.
He served in WWII as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airbourne.
Alvin was preceded in death by parents, Austin and Ethel; two sisters; and wife, Lucile. He is survived by children, Tim (Marilyn), Mary Powers, Susan Carpenter (Mike), Beth Brandenburg (Joe), Margi Zander (Kim), Barb, Ginny Thompson, Ann Vick (David), Bonnie Piels (Mike), Joan Parke-Lewis (Ted), Dan Wirtz (Cathy), and Cindy Parmele; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 517 W. 10th St, Medford, OR, on Wednesday March 30, 2011, at 8:30 a.m. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., at Eagle Point National Cemetery. The family would like to offer special thanks to Ranee and Kent for their special care and kindnesses.
