The American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington Council Inc. are teaming up for Girls Save Lives Blood Drive.

The blood drive will be held Friday, April 1, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Girl Scouts Service Center auditorium, 2001 N. Keene Way, Medford.

Girl Scouts in the Medford area can earn a special patch by bringing an adult who is eligible to donate blood. While donors are giving blood, Girl Scouts can participate in fun activities and learn about blood donation.

Blood donors must be at least 16 years old and meet Red Cross requirements. Adults can register by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS and identifying that they are attending the Girl Scout drive. For more information, see www.redcrossblood.org.
