The 18th edition of the Rogue Valley Cup, a three-day soccer tournament, will welcome in 135 teams from Oregon, Washington, Nevada and California this weekend.

The Fusion, which is competing in the U19 division, captured the Oregon State Cup championship earlier this month. The team of local players also won the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup in February.

The RVSC squad will participate in the Region 4 championships — which will feature teams from 13 other states — after competing in the Rogue Valley Cup.

Ibarra, a senior at North Medford High, was a Southern Oregon Hybrid first-team selection for the Black Tornado this fall.
