Ashland police were still searching Monday for an armed man who robbed a Minute Market in town late Friday.

A man walked into the store at 407 N. Main St. about 11:20 p.m. carrying a small handgun and demanding money, according to the Ashland Police Department.

The clerk complied, and the man left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The robber was described as a Hispanic male adult about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans, a hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap and sporting a red bandana.
