Communications company CenturyLink continues to collect items for its second annual food drive, which strives to gather 10,000 pounds of food for the ACCESS Food Share Pantry Network by Thursday.

All food and money raised in the drive goes to ACCESS to feed the hungry.

Foods rich in protein are needed, including peanut butter, canned tuna, canned meat and beans. Donations of any non-perishable food items like rice, pasta, cold and hot cereals also will be accepted.

Food and money donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

150 W. Stewart Ave., Medford 1321 Center Drive, No. A (next to south Fred Meyer), Medford 2650 Avenue G, White City

Checks can also be made out to ACCESS and mailed to:

ACCESS Food Drive c/o CenturyLink, Attn: Rusty Bordelon, 1321 Center Drive Unit A, Medford, Ore., 97501.

Online donations can also be made at www.accesshelps.org. Click the "Donate Now" button and enter "CenturyLink" in the dedication field.

ACCESS can purchase five pounds of food, or five meals, for every dollar donated.

CenturyLink's 2010 food drive collected 9,622 pounds of food through both food and cash donations.
