Patricia "Gale" Kinler, 55, of Medford, Ore., went to Heaven on June 27, 2011. She was born to James and Betty Hawkins, on December 29, 1956, in Sparta, Tenn. Gale married Jim Kinler on July 9, 1977, and together they raised four children.
Gale was a simple woman with many riches. She had a big heart. On Wednesdays she and Jim volunteered at the Santos Community Center, a food pantry. Her hobbies included collecting angels and salt and pepper shakers of all sorts, hanging out with her grandchildren, and watching NASCAR.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, of 35 years; her children, Nicci Bergseng, of Cathlamet, Wash., Michael Kinler and Sherry McGee (Chris), both of Medford, Ore.; a daughter-in-law, Codi Zrbin, of Medford, Ore.; her grandsons and granddaughter; her mother, Betty, and stepfather, Jim, both of Troy, Ohio; sisters, Kathy Force, and Shawna Arnett; and a brother, Jeff Arnett, of Troy, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her son, James R. Kinler, Jr., in 2008; and stepdaughter, Trisha Rouche, in 2009.
A celebration of Gale's life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., with a potluck to follow at Rogue Valley Fellowship, in Medford, Ore., Pastor Ron Ashpol officiating. Conger-Morris Funeral Home is in care of arrangements, 541-772-7111.
