Southern Oregon Public Television and Women Enjoying Beer are bringing "Prohibition" to Medford.

Celebrate an era of bootlegging, speakeasies and bathtub gin at a preview showing of Ken Burns' and Lynn Novick's documentary, "Prohibition", which airs on SOPTV in October. Tonight's preview, one of a series across the region, begins at 5:30 p.m. at Red Rock Italian Eatery, 17 W. Fourth St., Medford. Other upcoming screenings are in Grants Pass and Klamath Falls.

Festivities include food, beverages, and short presentations on prohibition topics by Ginger Johnson, founder of Women Enjoying Beer.
