One lane of traffic will be closed on East Jackson Street between Genessee and Hawthorne streets today while Century Link works in manholes in the right of way.

The work is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flaggers will be present. Travelers should expect delays associated with this work and are advised to seek alternate routes, the city of Medford said in a news release. Weather conditions or equipment failures may delay the above schedule.

On Thursday, Fifth Street will be closed between Bartlett Street and Riverside Avenue from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Riverside Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets will have multiple night-time lane closures from 6:30. to 10 p.m. Knife River Materials will be working in the right of way. Flaggers will be in place, city officials said in a news release.
