Frank A. Ringgard, 68, of Phoenix, Ore., passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2011, in an automobile accident, in Rogue River, Ore. He was born January 6, 1943, in Worcester, Mass.

He loved NASCAR racing, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his son, Douglas, of Phoenix, Ore.; brother, Rick Ringgard (Rhea), of Auburn, Mass.; sisters-in-law, Linda (Tom) Brandom, and Diana (Leonard) McQueen, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Cindy Lull, of Henderson, Nev.; two nieces; and five nephews; four great-nieces and nephews; and an ex-wife, Laura (Floyd) Barnes.

A celebration of Frank's life and potluck will be held at the Bear Lake Estates Clubhouse, on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Douglas has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, as both Frank's mother and sister died of cancer, and a sister-in-law is battling it.
