LAKEVIEW — Sean Radford, a 25-year-old who graduated from South Umpqua High in 2004, takes over the Honkers' program from Steve Prock, who stepped down as head coach.

Radford, who played some at and graduated from Linfield College, will lead a squad that finished 7-2 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Cascade Hybrid in 2010.

Junior quarterback Cody Clemens is a first-year starter, but will have plenty of targets to throw to. Seniors Bryce Davis, Lane Roseberry and Jay Lysne will be Clemens' top targets, and senior linemen Sam Ugalde, A.J. Friermood and Terry Cahill provide the Honkers with a veteran presence in the trenches.

Davis made the all-state honorable mention list as a receiver last fall.

Three students from Paisley High will join the team, including receiver/defensive back Jack O'Leary.

Prock will continue to serve as Lakeview's athletic director.
