Celebrate the season at the Harvest Fair this weekend at the Jackson County Fairgrounds and Exposition Center, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point.

Look for the annual microbrew festival, amateur beer and wine competitions, chili and backyard barbecue cook-offs, the championship grape stomp, livestock displays, live music, vendors and more.

The fair opens at 5 p.m. Friday and features country music by Jason Johnston and Michael Boren. Admission is $4 and includes re-entrance to the fair on Saturday or Sunday. The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 per day, $3 for children ages 6 through 12 and free for ages 5 and younger.
