San Franciscan folk musician has a raw and rugged sound.
San Franciscan folk musician Sean Hayes brings his raw and rugged sound to town.
Without music school training, Hayes has built a 20-year career, recording six albums and seeing his songs used in television shows and commercials.
He combines a self-professed "desire to give people something to tap their feet to" with a languid exploration of "the thoughts, feelings and mystical qualities of oneness."
Hayes will present originals and old favorites, such as "Alabama Chicken" and "Little Maggie," at 8 p.m. at Jackson Wellsprings, 2253 Highway 99 North, Ashland.

Admission to the Ashland show is $18. Call 541-482-3776.
