Ashland Art Works is selling 35 unique, hand-painted step stools made by students at Ashland High School, all three of the Ashland elementary schools, members of Ashland Art Works, and other local artists.

Ashland Art Works is selling 35 unique, hand-painted step stools made by students at Ashland High School, all three of the Ashland elementary schools, members of Ashland Art Works, and other local artists.

The stools will be showcased Friday, Oct. 7, at Ashland Art Works, 291 Oak St., Ashland, during the First Friday art walk.

The sale is a benefit for two charities, Maslow Project for Homeless Youth and the Jackson County Humane Society.

The gallery is requesting a minimum donation of $50 per stool.
