It hasn't taken Kyle Singler long to fit in with his new basketball team, Lucentum Alicante of Spain's top professional league.

Singler was the leading scorer in a 79-75 preseason win over UCAM Murcia Thursday.

The former South Medford and Duke star, who was drafted in the second round last summer by the NBA's Detroit Pistons, scored 13 points.

He signed a contract with Alicante as the NBA lockout proceeded. He'll be let out of his contract if the NBA begins operations.
