The bride is the daughter of Andre and Heather Allen of Ashland. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1989 and in 1993 earned a degree in journalism and political science from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif. She works as a television personality and spokeswoman for International Shopping Channels.

The groom is the son of Bill Cook and Jackie Petraitis of Green Bay, Wisc. He graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1987, from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in 1993 with a degree in mechanical engineering, and from the Keller Graduate School of Management in 200 with a master's degree in mechanical egineering. He works as an entrepreneur for Baker-Rullman Manufacturing.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Deirdre Allen Pearson of Ashland. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Rosie Allen Roberson of Ashland, and the bride's niece, Maisie Roberson of Ashland.

Best man was the groom's son, Alex Cook of Milwaukee, Wisc. Groomsmen were the groom's friends, Brad Carpenter of Green Bay, Wisc., and David Schroeder of Watertown, Wisc.

Ushers were the bride's brothers, Zachary Allen and Michael Allen, both of Ashland.

A reception hosted by the bride's parents immediately followed the ceremony at the Grand Dining Room of the Palace Resort.

After a stay in the honeymoon suite of the Palace Resort, the newlyweds are living in Pewaukee Lake, Wisc.
