Lois Louise Brittsan Milhoan, 80, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on November 26, 2011, at Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital. Lois was born in Hobart, Okla., and spent much of her childhood moving with her family until they settled in the Rogue Valley. She graduated from Medford High School in 1950.
She met her husband of 60 years, Jim Milhoan and lived in Central Point, Ore., until 1957. They moved to Los Angeles, Calif., and raised their four children until retiring to the Rogue Valley in 1998. Lois enjoyed bowling, square dancing, sewing, making jewelry and being with her family.
She is survived by her best friend and endearing husband, Jim Milhoan; daughters, Victoria Smith and Debra Cheevers; three sons, Russell, Randel and Ronald Milhoan; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel, 800 South Front Street, Thursday, December 1, 2011, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services at the same location Friday, December 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by David Campbell. A private family graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens.
She is dearly loved and will be missed by many. May she rest in peace in God's grace.
