The Upper Rogue Community Center will receive a $13,000 grant today from the Coleman Family Fund, Olsrud Family Fund and the William & Florence Schneider Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.

The Upper Rogue Community Center will receive a $13,000 grant today from the Coleman Family Fund, Olsrud Family Fund and the William & Florence Schneider Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.

The grant is being given for the Community Center's Emergency Services Program. The mission of the Upper Rogue Community Center is "to attract, initiate and maintain services and activities to benefit people of the Upper Rogue."

The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve life in Oregon and promote effective philanthropy. OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds OCF awards more than $60 million annually in grants and scholarships.
