Jack Singler added 12 points and Sam Curtius had 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting for the Panthers (6-1), who bounced back from their first loss of the season in the final of last week's Red Bluff Holiday Classic.

Eureka (2-9), which suffered its third straight loss, was led by Bryce Rose's 16 points. Mitchell Hash added nine points for the Loggers, who turned the ball over 22 times in the first half.

"It was just not a very well-played game," South Medford head coach Dennis Murphy said.

South Medford took advantage of turnovers to take an 11-6 lead into the second quarter and a 50-23 cushion into the fourth.

South's defense held Eureka to 5 of 16 shooting in the first half.

ROGUE VALLEY ADVENTIST 64, HENLEY JV 58 — At Klamath Falls, Hosanna Holiday Hoop Classic most valuable player Caleb Allen racked up 29 points to lead Rogue Valley Adventist to the tournament title.

Allen also supplied the Red Tailed Hawks (9-1) with 10 rebounds and five steals and Jesse Gilley chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Defensively, the Red Tail Hawks wore down Henley's junior varsity and committed just five turnovers in the contest, a season low.
