A glassblowing exhibit will open at the Illahe Studios and Gallery, 215 fourth St., Ashland, on Jan. 6 and will stay open through Jan. 28.

A glassblowing exhibit will open at the Illahe Studios and Gallery, 215 fourth St., Ashland, on Jan. 6 and will stay open through Jan. 28.

The exhibit will feature hand-blown glass lanterns by Ashland artist Steven Cornett.

Cornett has been working with glass since 1989, a news release said.

Wine and light appetizers will be served at the opening reception.

Illahe Studios shows exhibits from over 20 local and regional artists.
