WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Oregon State senior Leslie Mak has been honored for the Pac-12 Conference special performance of the week.

For the second time in two weeks, Mak has received conference honors. Mak performed a near-flawless routine on the balance beam, tying her career-high score of 9.950 points and securing the win over then-No. 13 Arizona.

Mak, a native of Toronto, won the individual beam title as well as the all-around with a score of 39.400.

Mak ranks No. 1 in the nation on the balance beam with an average score of 9.9125.

The special performance recognition is Mak's first and Oregon State's 13th all-time. She is the first Pac-12 gymnast this season to earn both gymnast and special performer accolades.

UCLA sophomore Samantha Peszek was named gymnast of the week after winning her third straight all-around title with a career-high 39.500.

Oregon State, ranked No. 10, hosts No. 12 Stanford Friday.
