Pacific Power's Blue Sky energy program will provide up to $100,000 to the Medford airport to install solar panels for three toll booths at the north end of the airport parking lots.

The 15-kilowatt array will be visible from ground level and will serve as a canopy for the booths and lanes leading to them.

The airport project is one of three funded by Pacific Power in Southern Oregon. The City of Roseburg Public Safety Center and Joyce Morgan Food Bank also will receive money for solar projects. In all, the utility company is providing $376,000.
