Two well-known getaway destinations in the Oregon Cascades become part of InterContinental Hotel Group's Holiday Inn Resort properties in February.

Renovations, totaling $6 million, have been completed at Eagle Crest Resort and Running Y Ranch, purchased by Northview Hotel Group in November 2010.

The 100-guestroom Lodge at Eagle Crest Resort, near Redmond, and 82-guestroom Lodge at Running Y Ranch, west of Klamath Falls, have new restaurants as well: Aerie Cafe at Eagle Crest Resort and The Ruddy Duck at Running Y Ranch.

Eagle Crest Resort, a 1,700 acre high-desert destination resort and Running Y Ranch, a 3,600-acre resort overlooking Klamath Lake, will be the only Holiday Inn Resorts in the contiguous western U.S., and are a natural fit for the brand's growth strategy.

The Lodge at Eagle Crest and The Lodge at Running Y Ranch are the 16th and 17th Holiday Inn Resort properties in the Americas, offering golf, swimming, tennis and volleyball on site, while being near to fly-fishing, white-water rafting, birding, hiking and cycling areas.
