Ruth Watson, 91, of Medford, Ore., went to meet the Lord on March 25, 2012. She was born to Hugh and Aura Johnston on July 1, 1920, in Keefton, Okla. Ruth graduated from high school in Muskogee, Okla., and attended Oklahoma College of Agriculture. On June 14, 1940, she married Homer Watson in Muskoguee. They enjoyed a life of farming in Shafter, Calif., and ranching in Hilt, Calif. They later retired to Eagle Point, Ore. For the last several years Ruth lived at Northridge Assisted Living Center. She was a long time member of the Living Praise Pentecostal Church of God in Central Point, Ore.

Ruth is survived by her five sons, Ron (Jerilyn) Watson, of Eagle Point, Ore., Gerald (Sue) Watson, of Denver, Colo., Ray (Robin) Watson, of Yreka, Calif., Mike (Paula) Watson, of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Art (Joanie) Watson, of Marysville, Calif.; two daughters, Karen (Richard) Ramirez, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Susie (Gus) Zendejas, of Nyland, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn Holland, and brother, Leon Johnston, both of Yuma, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; and brothers, Don and Ed Johnston.

A funeral for Ruth will be held March 31, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at the Living Praise Pentecostal Church of God, 115 Gibbon Road, Central Point, Ore.
