Rogue Valley residents could see thunderstorms develop this afternoon and evening, with cloud-to-ground lightning and heavy rainfall, National Weather Service officials said.

Meteorologists said there is also a chance for heavy outflow winds and hail. Thunderstorms should die down to showers later in the evening.

A chance of scattered rain showers is expected every day through the week, with high temperatures ranging from the mid 60s to mid 70s.
