Virginia Casados Maxwell passed away at home in Medford, Ore., on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Virginia was born Feloniz Juana Casados in San Juan Pueblo, N.M., August 18, 1922.

She was a very dynamic, driven lady who worked hard to improve her lot in life. She was very successful in her career as a bookkeeper and public relations representative. Always stylish, both with fashion and interior decorating, she dressed impeccably and her home was elegant and beautiful. Because they loved to vacation in the area, fish and play golf, she and her husband, Ben Maxwell (1906-2006), moved to Medford, from California.

Virginia is survived by three sisters, Leona Candler, of Washington, Marina Wood, of Florida and Juanita Martinez, of New Mexico; sister-in-law, Juanita Casados, of New Mexico; and many nieces and nephews. Although she will be missed, her regal spirit lives on. A celebration service will be held at a later date.
