Jones drove in three runs on a 2-for-5 performance as the Ducks' designated hitter. It was his first game back after missing the previous eight games.

Jones' offensive performance was backed by another impressive outing by senior Alex Keudell, who improved to 7-3 at the mound.

Oregon improved to 28-13 overall and 12-7 in the Pac-12.

OREGON STATE 5, SOUTHERN CAL 3 — At Los Angeles, Ryan Dunn homered and Michael Conforto drove in two to pace Oregon State to a series-opening win over USC at Dedeaux Field.

Dunn hit the first pitch in the eighth inning over the left field fence to give the Beavers a 4-2 cushion. The shot came off reliever Nigel Nootbaar and marked OSU's first hit off the right-hander since he had entered in the fifth inning.

OSU (28-12, 9-7 Pac-12) starter Ben Wetzler worked 62/3 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits to go with seven strikeouts. He improved to 5-2 this season.

OREGON TECH 7, SOUTHERN OREGON 6 — Oregon Tech's Ashleigh Larson hit walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning as the fifth-ranked Owls earned a comeback victory over Southern Oregon in Cascade Collegiate Conference softball action Friday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Fields.

Oregon Tech clinches the regular season conference crown with an 18-4 record, 35-7 overall. The game began as part of a doubleheader on April 17 in Klamath Falls, but it was held due to rain in the top of the second inning with SOU (20-18, 10-12 CCC) leading 3-0.

Sierra Anderson finished with a pair of hits for the Raiders, and Stephanie Vandenbusch (Fremont, Calif./American) added a home run.
