Teddy Roosevelt's Oregon Roadshow, a live history performance, will visit schools, museums, and historical societies across the state the second week in May.

The tour will stop in Medford at 8 a.m. May 8 for a "Breakfast with Teddy Roosevelt." The catered breakfast will be held at the Imperial Event Center, 40 N. Front St., in downtown Medford.

Tickets cost $35. Proceeds benefit the Southern Oregon Historical Society.

Teddy Roosevelt impersonator Joe Wiegand has been bringing the "Rough Rider president" to life for years with his unparalleled grasp of history and uncanny resemblance to the 26th president. He has a depth of knowledge about personal anecdotes in Roosevelt's life and enjoys telling funny stories of life in the White House with six kids and anecdotes of his many adventures, from bear hunts to the Panama Canal, from Africa to the Amazon.

He will be joined on the tour by Oregon Historical Society Executive Director Kerry Tymchuk and Wells Fargo History Museum manager Steve Greenwood. Greenwood will share his knowledge of Wells Fargo's history in the Pacific Northwest.

The tour coincides with sponsor Wells Fargo's 160th-year celebration. The financial services company opened its first Oregon office in Portland in 1852.

Tickets may be purchased by calling 541-773-6536, ext. 1002, or at http://www.sohs.org/teddy-roosevelt.
