Leota Marie Martin-Walters, of Medford, Ore., went to be with the Lord May 10, 2012, after living 81 years primarily in Medford and Canyonville, Ore.
Leota was the oldest of two children born to the late Vernie and Iva Martin on September 14, 1930, and preceded in death by her brother, Harold. Leota was the wife of the late Joe Martin and the late John Walters to whom she was married for over 30 years.
Leota will forever be remembered by her two sons, Mark Martin, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Randy Martin, of Roseberg, Ore.; her daughters-in-law, Leslie Martin, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Traci Martin, of Roseberg, Ore.; and her six grandchildren, Emily, Ellie and Daniel Martin, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Adriann, Zachary and Madison Martin of Roseberg, Ore.
Leota fellowshipped with her church family at Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Days Creek, Ore. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 5:30 p.m., at Roseburg Christian Fellowship located at 1376 NE Walnut St., Roseburg, Ore.
