Numerous law enforcement agencies teamed up for a high-visibility DUII saturation patrol over Memorial Day weekend, yielding nine arrests for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Participating agencies included Oregon State Police, Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Talent, Central Point, Ashland, Eagle Point and Medford police departments.

In addition to the nine DUII arrests, police also made two arrests for drugs and executed three warrant arrests. They issued nine citations for driving with a suspended license, five for driving uninsured and wrote tickets for 41 other traffic violations.
