Pacific Retirement Services said today one of its California units has taken over management of Friends House in Santa Rosa, Calif., a non-profit continuing care retirement community.

The Friends Association of Services for the Elderly, part of the Quaker church tradition of equality and simplicity, opened the 7-acre center in 1976. PRS affiliate, Retirement Services LLC, will provide guidance and oversight to all departments at Friends House, including operations, accounting, human resources, and marketing.

The management agreement follows one signed in March 2011 with Quaker Gardens Senior Living, a nonprofit continuing-care community in Stanton, Calif.
