In Jackson County the 13 grants awarded were:

Ashland Family YMCA, $7,500, to support the Y-Financial Assistance Program that provides scholarships for low-income participants. Butte Falls Community School Partnership, $10,000, to support a Friday and summer educational and recreational program for youth in grades 4-7 in Butte Falls. Community Works, Inc., $7,500, to support the Transitional Living Program for homeless youth in Jackson County. Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern Oregon Inc., $3,000, to provide staff and materials for the Train the Trainer program offered to case workers in Klamath and Jackson counties. Crater Foundation, $2,000, to provide school supplies to low-income kindergarten students of Central Point School District. Family Solutions, $10,000, to assist with the purchase of a van that will provide transportation for residential clients at the therapeutic boys and girls homes in Jackson County. Jacksonville Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, $10,000, to purchase equipment for the Jacksonville Elementary School playground. Kids Unlimited, $7,500, to provide computers and software for the Learning Center at Kids Unlimited in Medford. Living Opportunities Inc., $5,000, to support a five-week art experience for abused children of the Children's Advocacy Center. Maslow Project, $10,000, to provide services to homeless youth in Jackson County. Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts, $4,000, to support a scholarship program for low-income children. Rogue River School District, $7,500, to support construction of a playground at Rogue River Middle School. Roots & Wings Community Preschool, $5,000, to provide scholarships for low and moderate-income children to attend pre-school in Jackson County.

The Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation provides grants directed toward youth education and community projects in Coos, Deschutes, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath and Lane counties in Oregon.

The foundation has awarded $12.1 million in grants to non-profit organizations since its start in 1997.
