Guy W. Havice, 83, of Medford, Ore., passed away July 20, 2012, at home. He was born May 10, 1929, in Los Angeles, Calif. On March 29, 1952, he married Theda O. Peyton, who survives.
Guy served in the Army Air Force, and the Air Force after the two branches separated. He retired from Providence Medford Medical Center where he worked as an engineer. He also worked for Medford Coca-Cola and owned Guy's Refrigeration. In his free time he loved camping, woodworking and construction.
Survivors include his sons, Richard (Jane), of Sams Valley, Ore., Ronald (Erlene), of Central Point, Ore., and Robert, of Medford, Ore.; daughter, Guyla Williamson, of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters, Sally May Havice, of Cerritos, Calif., and Virginia McManamou, of Medford, Ore.; brother, Jim Havice, of Austin, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Ralph; two grand-
children; his parents; two sisters; 2 brothers; and son-in-law, Mark Rowland.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ore. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
